Brand new finance company Finset partners with CHESS Homeless

Finset commits to making a donation for every financial deal completed

Finset, a brand-new finance company founded in Essex, is celebrating its launch by partnering with local charity CHESS Homeless to provide support and funds to help their mission in seeking to relieve homelessness and related hardship and distress amongst adults in Chelmsford and Essex.

Finset was founded during the COVID-19 global pandemic, the same time the government pledged £3.2m to local authorities* to help with homelessness in the UK. Emergency support was offered for rough sleepers during the outbreak, to assist with public safety and protecting the most vulnerable people in society from coronavirus. However, despite this, reports of rough sleeping in the UK rose sharply during lockdown*.

Graham Westwood, Founder Director, Finset, said: "We have chosen to partner with CHESS Homeless as we believe in their mission and values in trying to help eradicate homelessness in Essex. We want to help where we can during this time of need and will work closely with the charity as we grow, and as our contributions grow each month. We believe that any support that we can give to CHESS in this current environment will hopefully be beneficial and make people's lives better, whether it be just for a night or a longer-term solution."

CHESS Homeless said: “CHESS are delighted to have been chosen by Finset as their charity of choice and value relationships that we are able to build with local companies. We feel it is important to raise awareness of the work that is going on in the community through our services and their financial and volunteer support makes a huge difference.”

Finset offers customers finance for any asset. Their mission is to create the best customer journey and find them the best deals in the market. By donating a percentage of each deal completed to CHESS Homeless, Finset strives to achieve their goal of being ethical whilst also giving back to the community.

Further updates and fundraising activities Finset will carry out to support CHESS Homeless will be announced in due course.
